The Accelerated Stress Tests and Life Evaluation on the Cross-linked Ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene Copolymer Insulated Wires
Based on the failure distribution laws of extruded wires including Arrhenius-Weibull model and inverse power law-Weibull model, two accelerated stress tests are used to evaluate the life of cross-linked ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (XETFE) insulated wires: one is the constant-temperature test which is used to evaluate life under high temperature condition, the other is the stepped-voltage test which is used to evaluate life under high electrical stress.By the maximum likelihood estimate method (MLE), the failure data from two tests are analyzed. The analysis results can provide fundamental data for daily maintenance of the low-frequency cable network for space.
