Analysis of Electrodynamic Repulsion Force Between Contact of Circuit Breaker with Oil Dashpot
This paper proposed an analysis method for contact system of circuit breaker with oil dashpot using three-dimensional finite element software, the Holm force between contact and the Lorentz force between the conductor arm are analyzed through electro-magnetic coupling analysis respectively.The current density distribution, magnetic intensity distribution and the force of the contact and contact arm are obtained.Compared with the theoretical value, it shows that it is feasible to use this method to solve electric force of circuit breaker with oil dashpot.Then the main factors that influence the Holm force are analyzed, the simulation results shows the changes of Holm force with different surface contact coefficient, contact pressure and material hardness.At last, the influence of Holm force on contact resistance is analyzed.This provides the basis for the optimization design of the circuit breaker with oil dashpot.
