Simulation Tracking Method of the Performance Degradation of Overload Relay
Overload relay is a kind of important low-voltage electrical products to realize the protection of motors.The reliability of the overload relay is important to the safe operation of the motor.As the core component of overload relay, the performance of the thermal bimetal is continuously degraded in the process of using, which affects the reliability of the overload relay.In this paper, on the basis of the protection mechanism of overload relay, the ANSYS software is used to analyze the influence of thermal double system properties on the performance of overload relay, and then the key parameters which reflect the change of performance are found out.By the test, the real change of the performance is studied on.The fitting method of change trend of the key parameters is acquired.By use of ANSYS, the actual temperature and the action time on the thermal bimetal is simulated and tracked by the changed key parameters to know the change trend of overload relay in advance.
