Introduction Gold nanoclusters continuously attract much attention due to their special optical and catalytic properties1-3, which are strongly depended on their sizes, structure and the interaction between the surfaces of the nanoclusters.Thus it is necessarily to find a direct and accurate experimental method to control the size distribution for metal nanoclusters.
