Photocrosslinked Injectable Hydrogels Based on Sodium Alginate

Introduction Hydrogels exhibit high water content and physical properties similar to extracellular matrix (ECM) so have gained widespread application as 3D tissue engineering scaffoldsq.Recently, photocrosslinked hydrogels have gained more and more attention in biomedical applications 2.UV illumination is an excellent method to obviate the need for open surgical treatment and reduce patients pain3.So here, a two-step process was introduced to fabricate injectable hydrogel from modified sodium alginate and amino gelatin (ASA/AG).
