Rheological Property of Cellulose Diacetate With 1-Dutyl-3-methylimidazolium Trifluoromethanesulfonate

  One type of ionic liquids, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoromethanesulfonate (BmimOTF) was used as the solvent of cellulose diacetate (CDA).And CDA/BmimOTF solutions with different concentration were prepared.The rheological behavior of CDA/BmimOTF solution was investigated.Results showed that CDA/BmimOTF solutions exhibited the typical shear-thinning behavior, apparent viscosity and zero viscosity increased with the increase of solutions concentration and with the decrease of temperature.The viscous flow activation energy increased with the increase of CDA content.With the increase of CDA content, the interaction of CDA molecules in solution increased, the relaxation time of higher concentration solution became longer.
