Study on the Performance of SO2 Containing Industrial Waste Gas for Magnesium Removal from Phosphate Rock

Introduction Yunnan is rich in phosphate rock resources, but most of that are low-grade sedimentary phosphorite mine.It contains a lot of impurities, especially magnesium impurities, has great negative impact.Magnesium removal from phosphate rock is vital to the phosphorus chemical production part.If the content of MgO in phosphate rock is more than 1%, it will have adverse effect on the production of wet process phosphoric acid and subsequent phosphorus production.Because the magnesium phosphate salt could be completely dissolved in phosphoric acid solution in wet process phosphoric acid production, result the concentration of H+ in the phosphoric acid reduced greatly.
