Active Ageing and Smart Care Services in South Korea

摘要：

1.Introduction The ageing of population is a common issue that most of advanced countries are facing, or will face in the 21th century, despite differences in degree and pace.Korea became an ageing society in 2000 with the senior population exceeding 7％ of the total.As the life expectancy increases and birth rates continues to be extremely low, the society is ageing most rapidly.At this rate, Korea is expected to become an aged society in 2018, and a super-aged society in 2026.
