Analysis of Tensile Fracture Properties of Haircordsin Different Damp-heat Interactions
Haircords have characteristics as large stiffness, high friction co-efficient and low breaking elongation.These lead to a result that haircords are difficult to knit and the qualities of productsare poor.In this research, the tensile fracture properties of haircords in different damp-heat interactions have been analyzed.The support for proper condition of haircords in knitting machine was provided.The breaking strength and breaking elongation curves with different temperatures and humidity were studied.The results show that the haircords breaking strength and breaking elongation are negatively related to temperature but positively correlated with humidity, that contribute significant to yarnstensile fracture properties are about 20℃-25℃ and 80%-90% respectively.
