Creative design for Jacquard pattern by using superposition technology and its application on Songbrocade
The superimpose method which can create an innovative visual effect of secondary pattern design and the specific application on yarn-dyed jacquard fabric were studied in this paper.Based on the theoretical analysis and induction of the pattern composite method, type and form, by using jacquard-CAD software, the patterns with the themes of city overpass, the wind and fallen leaves in autumn, deep bamboo forest, flowers with ripples, paper folding, fallen leaves, vanity,water drop, and so on, were designed.In the meantime, a specific processing method on drawing was researched.Then Miracle superposition pattern was woven into the Song brocade fabric on the jacquard machine in Dingsheng company to make further research on a combination of jacquard and card-punching system.Thefollowing conclusions were drawn: superposition secondary design for jacquard pattern can be implemented, mainly through the using of color change, position change,superposition and other drawing tool in jacquard-CAD software, taking pattern dislocation, color layout and color change measures to achieve the desired innovative visual effect on all kinds of patterns;by dealing with the subtractive color on jacquard pattern and combining with the yarn color configuration on two warps and four wefts of Song brocade, it can meet the desired visual effect on fabric.
