Study on Starching Process of Viscose/UHMWPE Yarn

摘要：

　　To develop the viscose/UHMWPE blended woven fabrics, the starching process of viscose/UHMWPE yarn is mainly studied in this paper.We chose three kinds of blending ratio yam as sample materials.They were 50/50, 65/35, 90/10 viscose/UHMWPE yarns, whose linear density all were 18 Tex.In order to optimize the starching process, we made the 3 factors 3 levels orthogonal test using the GA392 electronic single yarn starching machine and aimed to analyze the sizing rate, breaking tenacity increase rate and hairiness reducing rate through the intuitive and variance analysis.The results show that the optimized starching technology of those three viscose/UHMWPE yarns respectively was 50/50 blended yarn starch concentration 8%, starch speed 30m/min and drying temperature 60℃;65/35 blended yarn 8%, 35m/min and 50℃;90/10 blended yarn 8%, 30m/min and 50℃.
