Use of sericin in the anti-pilling of wool fabric

　　Sericin is attempted to be used for anti-pilling of wool fabric in this paper.First wool fabric is dipped in sericin solution with crosslinking agents and then padded and cured to make sericin attach wool fabric after dyeing with reactive dyes.Such factors as concentration of sericin and crosslinking agents, curing temperature and time are studied.Pilling ranking is tested in this paper.The results show that the surface of wool fabric is successfully coated by sericin and anti-pilling properties of wool fabric are improved while K/S value and maximum absorption wavelength change slightly.
