A Research on the Patterns of Swaddle with Horsetail-Based Embroidery of Shui Nationality in Sandu County, Guizhou Province
The samples in this paper are taken from Bangao village, Sandong Township, Sandu County, Guizhou Province, where the Swaddle with Horsetail-Based Embroidery of Shui Nationality is most typical.On the basis of data collections, field investigations and interviews,different types of patterns, their cultural connotations and some other aspects of Swaddle with Horsetail-Based Embroidery are analyzed, classified and interpreted in this thesis.Meanwhile, the patterns are drawn into vector diagrams through digital process.It is advantageous not only for the inheritance, innovation and application in the design of modern products of Swaddle with Horsetail-Based Embroidery of Shui Nationality, but also for the women of Shui Nationality to use these vector diagrams directly to improve their embroidery efficiency.
