Applying QFD and Kano Model to Innovative Design for SHU Embroidery Tourism Souvenirs
In the national cultural regression trend, the Tourism Souvenirs emphasis more on traditional culture.As one of four famous Chinese embroidery, SHU embroidery forms its own unique characteristics: smooth, bright, neat.Most SHU embroidery products are decoration crafts.In order to meet the needs of the mass tourism consumers, enhance its Innovation, promote heritage protection of SHU embroidery, this paper takes four steps to get the goal.Firstly, we learn about the SHU embroidery culture and investigate on Sichuan tourism souvenir market, to defined the SHU embroidery products as tourism souvenirs.Next, the needs of tourists are obtained by analysis of Kano quality questionnaire and user interviews.Then, build the house of quality, and invite industry experts to fill in Matrix of Quality Relationship House.By analyzing the house of quality, the user demands values and souvenir design requirements are quantified, the design direction is to be obtained.Finally, creative design is based on the former data.Through the customer satisfaction test,we make some appropriate modifications.
