An Analytical Method of Calculating Fatigue Life for Engineering Mechanical Structures Under Broad Band Random Loading Spectrum
Based on Dirliks probability density function of rain-flow stress cycle range and the S-N curve in the long life range, an analytical model of calculating mechanical structural fatigue life under broad band random loading spectrum is established by using the incomplete F function.The fatigue life of the structure is calculated in the frequency domain analytically in our model.The performance of the proposed model is assessed by one practical example.The results demonstrate well the efficiency of the proposed model.
