Research of Braking Energy Recovery System for Electric Vehicles

  In order to improve the energy efficiency of electric vehicles, and make vehicles energy-efficient and environmental protection,this paper developed a braking energy recovery systern.The system can effectively improve the utilization efficiency of the braking energy of electric vehicles.Meanwhile, taking into account the performance parameters of motor and battery,on the basis of the traditional hydraulic braking system,through the addition of a hydraulic control unit and the pedal displacement sensor, developed a highly efficient regenerative braking control strategy.Then tested on the system control effect and braking energy recovery efficiency in the way of hardware-in-the-loop.The results show that the regenerative braking force and frictional braking force can be well coordinated operate,meanwhile, the braking energy can be recycled effectively.
