Key Gene Extracting Method in SUV Form Design
To assist Sport Utility Vehicle(SUV)form design for industrial designers effectively, SUV side contour was studied and SUV form gene constitution was researched.Design constraint space was built through analyzing the threshold constraints and logic constraints.By calculating the Pearson correlation coefficient among gene nodes, soft threshold was utilized to divide gene relativity into several levels.Genes with strong correlation and less strong correlation were obtained and their connectivity was computed respectively.Based on correlation analysis of user satisfied scheme, gene node connection diagram was constructed,from which key genes of SUV form design were obtained.Verification results show that the resulting key genes accord basically with designers cognition.
