Parameter Analysis and Optimization Design of Steering Mechanism in Engineering Vehicles
In the process of vehicle movement, due to the influence of the lateral force and tire elastic cornering, it is hard for internal and external steering wheels to meet the Ackermann angle relation.Based on MATLAB optimization toolbox, with the geometry analysis of the movement of steering wheels, this paper deduces the relational expression between the theoretical internal and external steering angle and the practical steering angle, then establishes the mathematical expression of the difference value between theoretical steering angle and practical steering angle at a given time, and finally as for the optimization goal, under corresponding constraints, calculates the optimal steering trapezium parameters of engineering vehicles.
