Frequency Characteristic Analysis for Boom Structure of Concrete Pump Truck Based on Cantilever Conveying Pipe Theory

  According to the structural features of boom structure on pump truck, its dynamic equation is carried out based on cantilever conveying pipe theory.In order to analyze the influence of flowing concrete on natural frequency of boom structure, the relationships among two first natural frequencies,pipe diameter and flow rate are simulated by MATLAB software.The simulation results show that the natural frequency of boom structure decreases significantly with the increasing pipe diameter but the flow rate has little influence on natural frequency.It is stated that enlarging the diameter of the plunger is a feasible solution to improve pumping efficiency without increasing working frequency.The conclusions provide the theoretically reference for the structural design of boom structure.
