Study on Contacting Stresses of Ball in Servo Disc Brake

  The ball stress distribution usually is three dimensional in tractor servo disc brake.In this article, the contact theoretical analysis is introduced, and the contact face action distribution between the saddle ball bearings is calculated by using a finite element software ANSYS.The elastic displacement, train and stress distributed situation was determined in contact surface.The results show that the method is completely feasible.This method is also a suitable solution to contact stress question, and the data will provide important references for the contact face optimization design.
