Structure Improvement and Finite Element Analysis of Motor Graders Blade
Motor graders blade is the component which is most directly affected by force, its performance and reliability directly reflect the overall performance of motor grader.Solid modelling and finite element analysis are essential to the structural design of blade and the improvements of its performance.In this paper, firstly, by selecting three typical working conditions of grader and establishing appropriate mechanics models,the working loads of graders blade was calculated.Secondly,it established the 3D models of graders blade and completed the finite element analysis under different working conditions seamlessly in Pro/E and ANSYS software.Finally,according to the results of analysis,an improved program for the blade could be proposed,and a theoretical basis for the optimal design and performance optimization of blade could also be provided.
