Research on Machine Vision Based Asphalt Concrete Truck Loading System

  In the mixing station, the asphalt concrete truck loading operation is still finished by manual in most cases,and the ultrasonic ranging based loading control system has the shortcoming of environment sensitive and is easily disturbed.By analyze the operation process of the manual loading control and the state-of-art machine vision technique, this paper proposes a vision-based asphalt concrete truck loading solution.The main research of this paper indudes: the background of the hulk loading operation and the system, the relative machine vision technique, the structure and the test platform of vision-based loading system,the image processing algorithms of bulk material recognition and the moving object tracking.The bulk material recognition algorithm mainly involves in the texture recognition.The moving object tracking algorithm mainly involves in template matching.The experiments illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed solution.
