Study of the Basis Function Fitting Correction Algorithm for the Uneven Brightness of the Pavement Image
In order to overcome the problems of the uneven background brightness of the pavement image that acquisited from the vehicle vision system, this paper proposed the function approximation theory fitting algorithm based on the illuminance-reflection model, estimated the illuminance deviation of the pavement image through the orthogonal basis function fitting, and stretched the pavement image by the division operation, then corrected the image effectively.The results showed that this method can eliminate the uneven background brightness caused by the uneven illuminance effectively, enhance the image contrast, and have good consistency for the adjacent frame of the pavement image image sequences.
