Simulation Research on the Effect of Chatter Signal on Response Characteristics of Proportional Pressure Reducing Valve
Proportional pressure reducing valve is often used in multi-way valve as a pilot valve, which can provide hydraulic pressure proportional to a given electromagnetic thrust. For improving pilot valve control performance of multi-way valve, the mechanism of friction flutter compensation was analysed based on the Stribeck model, a mathematical model of the valve was built by the Power Bond Graph theory and the effect of chatter signal on response characteristics of the valve was obtained through a dynamic digital simulation program. The simulation shows that output pressure fluctuation of the valve can be divided into reference pressure fluctuation and superposition pressure fluctuation. At dynamic response stage, the pressure fluctuation mainly bases on superposition pressure fluctuation with fluctuation frequency equal to 770Hz.At steady-state stage, the pressure fluctuation mainly bases on reference pressure fluctuation. The frequency of output reference pressure fluctuation of the valve is in accordance with corresponding chatter signal and the amplitude increases linearly with the increase of chatter signal amplitude.
