Simulation and Experiment on the Heat Transfer Procedure of Asphalt Pavement by Infrared
Hot in-place recycling of asphalt pavement is an development important direction of the highway industry in China.In order to heat the asphalt pavement with high quality and efficient, the 3D geometric model of asphalt pavement is established with the finite element software ANSYS, the heating and heat transfer process of asphalt pavement regeneration is simulated and the temperature distribution in asphalt pavement is obtained.The infrared heating device simulative testing is done, the test results are coincided with the result of simulation analysis.So it is proven that ANSYS-based simulation of the infrared heating asphalt pavement is feasible.It is useful for asphalt pavement temperature field analysis and further research on the infrared heating parameters of asphalt pavement.
