Research of Power System in Hydraulic Hybrid Tandem Vibratory Roller Part B : Simulation of Power System

  This paper is to investigate simulation of power system in hydraulic hybrid tandem vibratory roller based on the analysis of the working condition and operating characteristics of tandem vibratory roller.An engine of 82kW was selected as an example, and its output torque was 357 under rated speed of 2200r/min.The model of tandem vibratory rollers with machinery-hydraulic hybrid was built using ADAMS software and was simulated using MATLAB/SIMULINK software.The simulation results showed that the engine with hydraulic hybrid in tandem vibratory roller could always work in efficient working zone, and achieve saving fuel of up to 20% and improving utilization of the engine power of 13% by comparing with traditional system.These provide the theoretical and the reference for the control strategies of a new hybrid power system.
