The Effect of Covering on City Coach Skeleton Intrinsic Mode Simulation Results

　　According to ACAD drawings provided by a domestic bus company, city coach skeleton finite element models, that one has no covering, one has cover mass and one has covering were established.The effect of covering on city coach skeleton intrinsic mode simulation results is analyzed by the index of intrinsic frequency and intrinsic mode.The simulation results show that: covering can greatly increase intrinsic frequency of city coach skeleton, but has little influence on the intrinsic mode of vibration.Therefore,the influence of covering must be seriously considered to carry out intrinsic frequency analysis on city coach skeleton with the finite element method, and covering model cant be built with lumped mass.
