Controllable supercontinumm generation with CEP-stabilized mid-infrared laser pulse
With carrier-envelope phase (CEP) mid-infrared laser pulse, the CEP-controllable supercontinuum generation can be observed in the bulk solid materials.Frequency shift and the intensity change caused by the CEP of laser pulse is demonstrated distinctlywith an oscillation period of π only when the focus position of the laser pulse closes to the exit surface of the fused silica. This phenomenongradually weakens and disappears finally if the fused silica moves forward along the propagation direction of the laser. The same experimental phenomena can be obtained in thequartz crystal.
