Experimental Research on Superfinishing of HIPSN Ceramic Bearing Race

  In order to study the effect of different superfinishing process parameters on the surface roughness of HIPSN ceramic outer ring, orthogonal experiments concerning superfinishing parameters of superfinishing time, workpiece tangential velocity, the superfinishing stone pressure and oscillation speed were carried out to verify the optimization programs.The experimental results showed that the roughness value of the raceway surface, produced by the surperfinishing scheme,was the lowest.The optimized superfinishing parameters are: superfinishing time 6s, linear speed 840rn/min, superfinishing stone pressure 0.4N/mm2, superfinishing stone oscillation frequency is 300 l/min.And the results showed that raceway roughness Ra has an average value of 0.0367μm.The results provided a certain guiding significance for the production practice.
