Study on the simulation of self-excited oscillation abrasive flow polishing

  This paper proposes a self-excited oscillation soft abrasive flow (SOSAF)polishing method based on solid-liquid two-phase softness abrasive flow (SAF).the principle of the self-excited oscillation soft abrasive flow polishing method is introduced, cylindrical constrained channel is chosen to simulate the abrasive flow machining process, and the velocity and turbulent kinetic energy in the cylindrical channel with or without self-excited oscillation cavity are anlysised.The simulation results show that the velocity and turbulent kinetic energy in the channel with self-excited oscillation cavity are much higher than that in the channel without self-excited oscillation.The results also theoretically proved the feasibility and effectiveness of SOSAF.
