Online Estimate and Compensation of the Gear Machining Error Based on Flexible Electronic Gearbox
Electronic gearbox (EGB) is mainly used for controlling of the generating and differential movements in the gear machining tools.This paper mainly focuses on online estimate and compensation of the gear machining error based on flexible electronic gearbox.Firstly, the reasons of helical gear pitch error and spiral line contour error are analyzed, which caused by the machine tool body manufacturing and assembly errors, thermal deformation, cutting force and vibration.Then, the error models of helical gear pitch error and spiral line contour error are constructed.Finally, the weight coefficients of each axis impact on the gear generating machining error are determined, combined with the multi-axis cross coupling control method.The cross coupling control compensation model of EGB is designed to improve the EGB control effect.
