Photo-Oxidation of Colored PVC Films
Photo oxidative properties of colored PVC films are studied by color index analysis, mechanical properties analysis, scanning electron microscopy analysis, infrared spectrum analysis and ultraviolet absorption spectrum analysis.Results shows that compared to organic pigment, inorganic pigment is more suitable for the production of PVC film, since it can help to keep a good appearance of the material for a long time;in the process of aging, color changes of samples containing BNN pigment is mainly pale and light, and the appearance chromatism constantly increased;the addition of pigments have great influence on the breaking strength, morphology and the change of carbonyl index;there are corresponding characteristic peaks of chromophoric groups on the UV spectrum, the material keeps fading during aging process, which corresponds to the decrease of the chromophore.
