A Study on the Relationship between Climate and Micronaire Values in Xinjiang
This paper studied the trend of micronaire value of cotton in Xinjiang in recent years and the influence of climatic factors on it.Taking Hami area as an example,the micronaire value of cotton and the meteorological data from 2008 to 2016 were analyzed with correlation analysis and Principal Component Analysis.The results show that the micronaire value of Xinjiang cotton increased in the past ten years, the percentage of A grade of micronaire value (3.7-4.2) significantly reduced, and the proportion of C2 grade (≥5.0) significantly increased;During cotton growth period, The correlation between sunshine hours and the percentage of A grade of micronaire value was highest in Hami.Micronaire value of cotton is determined by the combined effect of climatic factors.
