Symbolic and Ritualistic in the History of Chinese Headwear
The true art and design must be produced from the passion of life.And the design that can move most people and inspire most peoples emotions is the really valuable art design works.The art of headwear design can be disseminated in the contemporary era.Not only because of its practical function and decoration method, but also it has symbolic and ritualistic over the practical value and craftsmanship.As a final product from the materialization of social relations, more as a symbol and means of recording culture, headwear is related to human civilization and spiritual needs.At the same time, It is not only the outcome of the material productivity of society to a certain stage, but also the carrier of expressing the sense of national self-consciousness and social politics.And it plays a symbolic role of class and standardization to the customs & etiquette and behaviors of person.Furthermore, it also contains rich and profound connotation of folk culture, which is the realistic soil and symbol of multi-ethnic, multi-religious and multicultural culture.The development and influence of the headwear, especially the inheritance of religious culture, cant be described as barbarism.The researchers should abandon the traditional culture of bigotry and explore the plastic arts in ritual further.This paper examines the study of the cultural philosophy of the headwear laterally and the cross-boundary study of the influence of headwear and human social human attributes.It uses the case study to analyze and the current view to think about the historical presentation of symbolic and ceremonial of headwear in substance and spirit.This process is of great significance to the research of the traditional Chinese culture field and the study of contemporary headwear design.
