1.Introduction Vibrio parahaemolyticus is a gram-negative, halophilic bacterium that distributes in coastal environments, especially in seafood products such as shrimp, crab, oyster, clam, scallop and marine fish.It is a crucial foodborne pathogen that can cause acute gastroenteritis in humans.
