A study on the electricity generation performance of microbial fuel cells with inlay-growing petaloid NiO/polyaniline anode material
In this study, the hydrothermal method and in-situ polymerization were applied to preparation of NiO@polyaniline (PANI) anode material.Influences of NiO@PANI-CF anode on the electricity generation performance of Microbial fuel cells (MFCs) were studied.Experimental results showed that the output voltage of the NiO@PANI-CF anode MFC reached 725mV, which increased by 70.5% compared with carbon felt anode.The output power density of the NiO@PANI-CF anode MFC reached 1079 Mw·m-2, which was 5.6 times of that of CF-anode MFC.
