Identification and removal of toxic pollutants in Phenol-acetone wastewater

摘要：

1.INTRODUCTION Both phenol and acetone are large volume organic chemicals.They are mainly produced with one process of cumene method.The process discharges large quantity of organic wastewater, which is highly toxic to microorganisms in activated sludge.Composition analysis of the wastewater indicated that most detected organics were biodegradable.
