INTRODUCTION Microbial fuel cell (MFC) is an emerging wastewater treatment technology that uses electrochemically-active bacteria to generate electricity by degrading organic matter in wastewater.However, it is a challenge to achieve simultaneous high-quality effluent and high power generation 1.The integration of filtration membrane with MFC was employed to obtain great quality effluent.
