Introduction 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) is an important raw material widely used in industry, such as for plasticizers, insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides, and widely detected in natural environments.Means to remove 2,4-DCP from water environment has drawn attention, and many methods are employed for it;anaerobic biological methods are often used due their economic and technical feasibility.
