Analysis on dynamic change of vegetation coverage based on NDVI:A case study of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei
In order to study the condition of vegetation cover and its change trend influenced by human activities, by calculating NDVI of five-day synthetic data of geospatial data cloud and MODIS data of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei in 2005, 2010 and 2015, the vegetation coverage is calculated by the Mixed-pixel dichotomy model, the changes of vegetation coverage at different periods and different data sources are compared.According to the change of vegetation coverage: from the time point of view, From 2005 to 2015, the area of vegetation coverage of middle coverage, low coverage and extremely-low coverage types increased, while the high and middle-high coverage types decreased in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei;from space, the total area of vegetation coverage increased, while the area of vegetation coverage decreased in central urban area in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, which is closely related to the construction of the national Three-North Shelterbelt and attention to vegetation protection and rapid urbanization in recent years.
