Protection and tourism development of ancient villages in resource-exhausted mining areas-a case study of Mentougou district
In recent years, lots of mines have been closed constantly, facing various problems of industrial transformation, ecological environmental management etc.Giving full play to the advantages of ancient villages, exploiting the sustainable development of resource-depleted mining areas have become the keys in solving the problems that impede the development of green industry.By investigating ancient villages and consulting literature reviews, this paper analyzed the resource situation and distribution of mining wasteland, spatial distribution and protection of ancient villages.The paper adopting case study method, considering the orientation towards Western Capital City Ecological Conservation Area and tourism value of mining industry site.Results showed that, combining the tourism resources in mining sites and ancient villages into the green industrial chain not only can protect the ancient villages, but also can form the eco-tourism brand of scenery-ancient village-mining site, which can effectively guarantee the regional sustainable development.
