Quantitative study on the soil reconstruction of a root system in the coal resource-concentrated distribution of Shenfu mineral regions
The exploitation of coal mineral resources brings convenience and wealth, as well as the damage of ecological environment. This study selected Sandy loessin in the mine-concentrated region, using soil samples with roots, pure soil, and designed roots for soil anti-scouribility experiment. The primary goal of this study was to evaluate the relative contribution of root net-link, soil-root bond, and biochemistry functions, to create soil configuration in soil anti-scouribility.The results showed that root physical consolidation effect is the governing factor, contributing 69.5% in soil reconstruction process of new structural soils.Compared with alfalfa density of 90 plants/m2, physical consolidation effect in the treatment of 360 plants/m2 increased by 12.4%.In addition, the root link function is the key man-ner in a proportion of 79.6% in the physical consolidation effect.Exponential function can well express the relationship between root physical consolidation effect and root surface area density.
