Radiation performance of three dimensional woven spacer microstrip antenna with CNT film/glass fiber wrapping yarn

  In this paper, the CNT film/glass fiber wrapping yarn with the conductivity of 5*104 s/m was prepared by wrapping CNT film onto glass fiber with self-designed wrapping device.As the conductive yarn, the CNT film/glass fiber wrapping yarn was weaved into 3D woven spacer structure to form a certain pattern as a microstrip antenna structure, which called 3D woven spacer microstrip antenna (3DWSMA).The 3DWSMA was tested and compared with the simulated results.The results showed that the frequency and the return loss of the antenna was 2.316GHz and-14.03dB, the gain and the efficiency was 3 dB and 31.5%.The results showed that the antenna satisfied the practical requirement and was consistent with the simulated results.
