RESEARCH ON DESIGN METHOD IN NOVATION OF FAIR ISLE SWEATERPATTERN
The Fair Isle sweater is a classic in the design of early Western sweaters,the profound historical and cultural heritage which still has more research value, so that the fair isle sweater can be transferred to different times,fusion of different times of breath, interpretation of their own wonderful.How to integrate the elements of the traditional fair isle sweater into the modern sweater design,it is worth studying that the new vitality and influence of traditional elements.In this paper, the characteristics of traditional fair isle sweater design are reviewed,this paper summarizes the classification and composition form of fair isle sweater patterns.on this basis,it focuses on the analysis and research of the innovation design method of the fair isle pattern.There are four ways in which the fair Isle pattern of design can be innovated:that is,distortion and exaggeration, combined with a new patterns,Simplification of traditional patterns, Combined with new design techniques.The conclusion of the article enriched the fair isle sweater and made the traditional elements gain new vitality and influence,it is the inheritance of the fair isle sweater, and makes the fair isle sweater combine with the times and innovate constantly.
