According to Mathematical Quilts by Venters & Ellison, (C) 1999 Key Curriculum Press, the oldest known quilts in Asia were dated from approximately 100 B.C.to 200 A.D.Quilting was introduced in Europe during 1 100-1 300 A.D.A quilt is a covering or a wall hanging made of three layers of material.The top layer is usually a graphical design which creates pattern, express memories, or makes a statement.
