Simulation of the Compression Behavior of the Microstrip Antenna based on 3D Woven Fabric
Textile structural antenna is one of the most important components for wearable electronics. To obtain structural integrity and stability, three-dimensional weaving technology is adopted to weave three-dimensional spacer fabric antennas (3D SFAs).The 3D SFAs are expected with excellent electromagnetic performance due to their highly hollow structure. However, the 3D SFAs arc prone to compression deformation. In this paper, the professional simulated software High Frequency Structural Simulator (HFSS) was adopted to simulate the full-wave electromagnetic performance of the 3D SFAs.The effects of size, depth and location of the compression on the electromagnetism performance were simulated and discussed.
