Preparation and Characterization of Melt-processable,Semicrystalline Polyimides Based on 1,4-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenoxy)benzene Dianhydride (HQDPA)

Aromatic polyimides exhibit excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance, electronic and mechanical properties, which have enabled them to gain importance in a wide variety of applications such as high-temperature adhesives, microelectronics and matrix materials for composites.Since the introduction of crystallinity serves as an effective means of improving the thermal stability, solvent resistance, as well as mechanical properties at high temperature, which makes semicrystalline polyimides very attractive aimed to develop such materials from both academic and industry research.
