Preparation of Polyimide Fibers with Low Dielectric Constant
Aromatic polyimide (PI) fibers have been recognized as one of the important members in the family of high performance polymeric fibers that can be widely utilized in aerospace, membrane separation and high performance composites due to their unique properties, such as the outstanding thermal stability,exceptional mechanical properties.1,2In some special situations, such as the Wave-transparent composites, the dielectric constant and loss tan δ of PI fibers should be as low as possible to reduce the energy loss of the electromagnetic wave.
