Supramolecular Hyperbranched Polymer: Structural Design, Molecular Assembly and Functional Extension

In the past two decades, supramolecular polymers (SPs) have received much attention due to their dynamic/reversible nature and unique physicochemical characteristics in a wide range of application fields, such as functional materials, biomedicine, and micro/nanotechnology.Compared with other SPs,the supramolecularhyperbranched polymers (SHPs) have three-dimensional topological features, little molecular entanglement, low viscosity, high solubility, and plenty of functional terminal groups.Therefore, SHPs possess the combined advantages of SPs and hyperbranched polymers.Herein, we summarized our recent work on the investigations of supramolecularhyperbranched polymer from three aspects including structural design, molecular assembly, and functional extension.
