Improvement of Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production Performance for Carbon Nitride Nanomaterials Derived from Hypermolecular Precursor
Photocatalytic hydrogen generation is extensively studied in recent years.Carbon nitride is a promising free-metal photocatalyst for photocatalytic hydrogen generation. However, its photocatalytic performance still need being improved. In this paper, melamine (MEL) and cyanuric acid (CYA) are applied to synthesize the supermolecular precursor MCA, which is used to prepare porous carbon nitride spheres. Its performance for photocatalytic hydrogen generation is improved due to the coplanar enhancement from the action of supermolecular interaction inside the precursor. The resulting products are characterized by IR, SEM, XRD, XPS, ect.
